Covid-19 Finol Business Update, 12 January 2021

In line with the new guidance from the Irish Government, Finol Oils has been identified as an essential service in the provision of lubricants to industries including Defence, Transport and Agriculture. The company will continue to operate with increased restrictions to protect their employees and customers;

  1. Staff who are required for essential work will remain on-site and adhere to all guidelines issued by the government to continue the operation in a safe manner.
  2. Sales and administrative staff, not required onsite, will continue working remotely to support the operation
  3. All staff not associated with essential work will be required to remain at home in accordance with government guidelines.
  4. Finol has implemented a number of customer/visitor-related procedures that are listed below. We would be grateful if you update yourself on this information before arriving on the Finol premises.

Placing Orders:

  1. Our phone lines are busier than usual currently and are not always accessible.
  2. To ensure that your order is processed in a timely manner, we ask can all orders be placed through [email protected] 

Trade Counter:

  1. Until further notice, the Finol Trade Counter is closed.
  2. Orders can be emailed or phoned in but we will be unable to accept walk-in orders at this time.
  3. We are currently not accepting on site payments.You can contact the office at 01-455 5484
  4. A list of Finol area managers can be found below who can help you with any queries you may have.
  5. To reduce contact, the Finol office door will remain shut until further notice

Collections:

  1. Finol will only be operating a collection slot system between the following times:
    1. 9.00am-10.am
    2. 2.00pm-3.00pm
  2. When a collection order is placed, a slot must be requested.
  3. All collections must be pre-arranged and confirmed before arrival.
  4. Collections for the 9.00am-10.am slot will be accepted up to 4.30pm the previous day.
  5. Collections for the 2.00pm-3.00pm will be accepted until 12.00pm the same day.

  7. Alternatively, you can talk to your relevant area manager who will communicate this to the office/warehouse.

Payments:

  1. This section relates to companies who pay by cheque, cash or on collection only.
  2. Finol has currently put in place a contactless payment initiative, with payments performed through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).
  3. For customers who would usually pay on collection, we ask that you contact our team beforehand who will take card payments over the phone.

All Visitors

  • Please follow government and HSE advice on hygiene standards. Please take note of hygiene procedures and Covid19 information posted throughout Finol.
  • If you have recently visited a restricted or infected area, come into contact with a confirmed case or are experiencing symptoms, please do not come on-site or remain on-site if you are already here. If you are already on-site and the above applies, please inform a member of staff.

Customers

  • To minimise physical contact, customers are not allowed to enter the Finol Office, Warehouse, Yard or Building at this time.
  • All customers who arrive on-site must phone the office to confirm arrival.
  • Customers collecting goods may park in Finol driveway while they wait for goods.
  • Customers and Customer Vehicles are not allowed in Finol Warehouse yard unless asked to enter by a member of staff.
  • Customers must remain in designated areas of Finol and goods will be brought to them.
  • Customers cannot freely roam around Finol site, staff shared workplaces and staff dining facilities.
  • Customers are asked to limit contact with Finol staff to essential personnel only.
  • Please note customers may be waiting longer than normal for collection of goods.

On Site:

  1. Customers and Customer Vehicles are not allowed in Finol Warehouse yard unless asked to enter by a member of staff.
  2. Customers must remain in designated areas of Finol and goods will be brought to them.
  3. Customers cannot freely roam around Finol site, staff shared workplaces and staff dining facilities.
  4. Customers are asked to limit contact with Finol staff to essential personnel only.
  5. Please note customers may be waiting longer than normal for collection of goods.

Drivers

  • All delivery and tanker drivers to contact Finol Office on arrival
  • Drivers may only bring vehicles on site under supervision from a Finol member of staff.
  • Where possible, drivers are to remain with their vehicle at all times
  • Drivers cannot freely roam around Finol site, staff shared workspaces and staff dining facilities.
  • Drivers are asked to limit contact with Finol staff to essential personnel only.
