Description

Uses

  • ClearNOx® is a ready-to-use solution comprising 32.5% high-purity urea that is recommended for use in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.
  • It’s use is compatible with vehicles subject to the Euro VI standard up to and including step D. As a reminder, the standard is made up of technical requirements that must be subject to a conformity check by the manufacturer.
  • The consumption depends on the engine design and the operating cycle, but generally varies between 3 and 8% of Diesel consumption

Benefits

  • ClearNox Inhibits the formation of deposits in the SCR system, thereby reducing the risk of the system plugging up;
  • Improves product spray;
  • Ensures optimal vehicle operation;
  • It is miscible with AdBlue®. However, ClearNOx ® loses its specific properties if diluted.

Manufacturer Requirements

  • It complies with the physical and chemical characteristics of the international ISO 22241-1 and DIN 70070 standards, as well as with European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC) regulations, but does not meet the definition in ISO 22241-1 section 3.1 due to the presence of additives.
  • It is also certified by the American Petroleum Institute (API)
