Finol Oils is very excited to announce that we have this month launched a new look range of our advanced coolants and antifreeze solutions for vehicle and machinery applications. This new look and new name CoolTemp range of coolants & antifreeze is the same trusted, high-performance products designed to provide superior protection against freezing, overheating, and corrosion, while also improving overall engine performance and longevity.
Finol’s CoolTemp range includes the main different coolant and antifreeze products required, including conventional and extended-life coolants, as well as special formulations for heavy-duty diesel engines in HGV vehicles, agricultural & construction machinery, automotive vehicles, and other demanding applications. The range are formulated with advanced corrosion inhibitors, anti-foaming agents, and other additives that help to keep engines running cool and protect against damage from rust, scale, and other contaminants.
With over 40 years of experience selling coolants to the market, the team in Finol understands the main queries most face when choosing the right coolant or antifreeze. Finol has taken this expertise and applied it to the new label design on the CoolTemp range of coolants and antifreeze.
- Colour: Whilst it is important to not rely on colour alone, CoolTemp labels are colour coded to match the product and Finols coolants and antifreeze have been designed to use the most commonly used colours to help identify them.
- Type of coolant: There are different types of coolants, including conventional (also known as inorganic or green), organic acid technology (OAT), and hybrid. Each type has its own advantages and disadvantages, so consider which type is best for your needs. Cooltemp labels clearly identify the type of product it is.
- Compatibility/OEM Specifications: It’s important to choose a coolant that is compatible with the materials used in your engine or equipment, such as aluminium, copper, and brass. Cooltemp labels clearly identify the type of coolant it is and OEM specifications to indicate its compatibility with your requirement.
- Freeze protection: It’s important to choose a coolant that provides adequate freeze protection not only for the ambient temperatures but the operating temperatures which could be much lower. CoolTemp labels identify the temperature the coolants provide protection in and for the concentrate products a table to indicate the mix ratios for different temperatures.
