Kia and Total Renew Global Partnership

Kia Recommends Total

Kia Corportion has extended a five-year global cooperation agreement with global motor oils firm Total Lubricants.

Sean Holland, Managing Director of Finol Oils, the national partner of Total Lubricants in Ireland welcomed the news. He said: “We are delighted with the extension of the Total and Kia partnership for the next five years. Throughout this partnership, the Finol Oils and Kia relationship has gone from strength to strength.

“Both companies share a strong commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction and this agreement helps to underline this. We look forward to developing an even stronger relationship the Kia team and ensuring they receive products and technical service that are unrivalled in the industry.”

The new agreement, which runs through 2026, marks the third extension of the partnership, but this time with a new focus on clean energy and carbon reduction in proactive response to market changes. The partnership complements Kia’s intention to continue its brand transformation under the company’s mid-to long-term business strategy, ‘Plan S’.

David Murphy, Head of Aftersales at Kia Ireland commented: “Kia and Total has had a very strong partnership for many years and we are delighted with the announcement of the extension of this arrangement.

“We cannot underestimate the importance of using the correct grade oil in our vehicles which Total provides to the exact specifications required. This ensures that our 7-year warranty is protected during all servicing operations.”

At the heart of Kia and Total’s wide-ranging relationship is a mutual commitment to provide global customers with higher quality products and services. Further cooperative projects will also be discussed, including the areas of electric vehicles and future mobility, taking both companies in a new direction.

The global cooperation agreement also encompasses Kia’s continued recommendation to use Total lubricants across its global aftermarket network.
